Product 01 EVOBIO

Exo Perio

Growth factors in surgical dentistry

Exo Perio™ delivers exosomes — extracellular vesicles secreted from the membranes of mesenchymal stem cells, roughly 30–150 nm in diameter. They are the messenger particles of cell-to-cell communication, carrying growth factors, cytokines and proteins to the tissue that needs them. Acellular by design: the signaling machinery of stem cells, without the cells.

Ø ~30–150 nm · Wharton's Jelly (age-0 tissue) · Allogeneic · Acellular · Single-use sterile vial

Source & regenerative capacity

Why Wharton's Jelly matters

Exo Perio™ is a minimally manipulated allograft derived from Wharton's Jelly — the gelatinous tissue that cushions the umbilical cord. It is an immuno-privileged site, and it carries the highest concentration of mesenchymal stem cells and exosomes available. Because of its source, it bears no antigens, so patient rejection is extremely rare.

Age-0 tissue

Highest regenerative capacity

Unlike autologous options, potency isn't limited by the age or health of your patient. Wharton's Jelly is age-0 tissue, carrying the highest concentration of growth factors and proteins that stimulate periodontal tissue regeneration and bone density, and accelerate healing.

Sourcing & safety

Lab-controlled, tested, retested

Procured from an FDA-registered lab and a tissue bank compliant with FDA regulations, with extensive donor serology panels and testing to ensure the product is free of bacterial and fungal contaminants. ISO 5 compliant. Every vial is tested and retested.

Advantages

Why clinicians choose Exo Perio™

Long-term release of growth factors

Sustained delivery rather than a single burst.

Long-term effects from stem cell activity

Ongoing regenerative signaling over time.

Anti-inflammatory, antimicrobial & antiviral

Also angiogenic and antifibrotic.

Immuno-privileged & allogeneic

Bears no antigens; patient rejection is extremely rare.

Acellular — no graft-versus-host risk

Containing no cells, there is no risk of graft-versus-host disease.

Off-the-shelf use

No preparation workflow, no centrifuge, no chair-time cost.

No blood draw

Nothing collected from the patient.

Cost-effective, single-use sterile vials

Predictable per-case economics.

Periodontal regeneration supported by clinical studies

See Limitations below for an honest read on the current depth of the evidence base.

Limitations worth knowing

No material is right for every case. These are the trade-offs to plan around.

  • Rapid resorption if not stored properly.
  • Less scaffolding support — though greater regenerative potential.
  • Limited shelf life once thawed.
  • Clinical studies and adoption are still limited compared with established options.
