Growth factors in surgical dentistry
Exo Perio™ delivers exosomes — extracellular vesicles secreted from the membranes of mesenchymal stem cells, roughly 30–150 nm in diameter. Exo Perio™ is a minimally manipulated allograft derived from Wharton's Jelly — the gelatinous tissue that cushions the umbilical cord. It is an immuno-privileged site, and it carries the highest concentration of mesenchymal stem cells and exosomes available. Because of its source, it bears no antigens, so patient rejection is extremely rare.
Age-0 tissue
Unlike autologous options, potency isn't limited by the age or health of your patient. Wharton's Jelly is age-0 tissue, carrying the highest concentration of growth factors and proteins that stimulate periodontal tissue regeneration and bone density, and accelerate healing.
